Annie girl!

Well... Annie is 7 weeks old today!  It is definitely going by very fast.  We are having a great time with our new little girl - God is so good.  We are still in awe over this wonderful child and couldn't be happier.  This past week she started sleeping for 5 hour stretches at night so I have been feeling great!  Daddy is pounding it out at work and we are counting down the days until tax season is over - 3 weeks and we will have him back! Wanted to share a few things that I absolutely love about Annie:
* Her sweet face - I think she has the most beautiful and feminine features about her.  Her skin is silky smooth and I could kiss her big cheeks all day!
* She loves getting a bath and we love giving them to her!  She looks so cute when she is naked and loves the warm water and cuddle time she gets after her bath!
* Her hands and feet - wow, they just amaze me.
* Her sweet breath.  Charlie thinks I am super weird for liking the smell of her breath, but I was assured that I am not all that weird because other Moms I know share this same feeling about their baby!
* Her noises!  She is a very vocal baby - she grunts and grunts even when she is not going to the bathroom.  She also squeaks a lot.  The first week she was home, Daddy nicknamed her "T" because we think she sounds like a terodactyl..hehe!  He also nicknamed her "munchkin".... this is my favorite.
* Her smiles.  She actually smiles a lot when she is in a deep sleep, but just in the last week she has started smiling in response to different things.
* She loves music and I love to sing to her when no one else is around.
* I love to rock her.
* I love that she can instantly be calm and comforted when I put her on my chest.

Annie's First 2 1/2 weeks!

After three weeks with our Annie, we are even more in love.  We just can't get enough of her!! The first week and a half was very rough, but we started to feel normal and more rested at two weeks.  We had our first outing last week where I did a little shopping and pushed Annie around in the stroller at the mall.  We also have made it out on a couple of walks which is so nice for both of us..the weather has been absolutely gorgeous this week!  Last Saturday we got to spend the whole day with GG and Grandpa and it was wonderful!  Mom treated me to a manicure and pedicure and a two hour babysit with Annie.  They are absolutely smitten and I love, love watching them with her.  When she was born, they kept saying that she was the spitting image of me when I was a baby and when I looked back at baby pictures, they were right! (Annie is a smaller version...)

Today she is three weeks old and I took her up to my office and Charlie's office to introduce her to everyone!  She, of course, was an angel. 

We love our daughter so much.... what a precious gift from God.  Enjoy the pictures!
